The Shepton Mallet Digital Arts Festival is a showcase for the digital creative industries in Somerset and Bristol.
This 3 day event includes a training and inspiring day giving people the chance to meet & gain skills from some of the finest professionals from the world of digital arts - film and video makers, photographers, animators and visual artists.
We are running a competition to find the next generation digital artists, including film makers, animators, photographers and any other artistic users of digital technology.
This is an opportunity to get your work in front of not only an audience, but also respected industry figures.
Our competition includes a 'hot talent' category sponsored by last year's judge, Hot Fuzz director Edgar Wright.
This year's prestigious judging panel includes
Martha Holmes
BAFTA award winning BBC producer and writer Martha Holmes is known for her wildlife documentaries. For almost two decades Martha has been bringing the natural world to the comfort of our living rooms, working as a producer on some of the BBC's best-known natural history series, including Life.
The festival is running from the 26 - 28 Nov at Kilver Court, full programme: http://www.sheptondigitalarts.co.uk/programme
